A stage four colon cancer diagnosis. A deal. An erroneous journey to the afterlife. A visit from the Grim Reaper.
These are the triggers for Roman Alexander and his tour guide Arthur’s shared night time trips full of conversations, thoughts, observations, emotions, insights and new perspectives of a cancer patient.
In my online course based on ideas from my book I want to share my experiences and new perspectives.
Throughout the narrative I want to raise your awareness of your mortality and remind you of the positive aspects you can experience from living in the moment; I also want to challenge you to take a look at yourself, question things, consider your own choices, and encourage you to make the changes necessary to live a joyful life.
Roman Alexander was born in Austria and has been traveling, living and working his way across Asia for the past 25 years. In May 2017, he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer and underwent emergency surgery just 48 hours later. The next 14 months of treatment included aggressive chemotherapy and two more surgeries. The treatment was a success and gave Roman Alexander not only a second life but also new perspectives on what is truly important, which is not very much at all.
Roman Alexander wants to share these experiences through his writing and seminars so others can find support and motivation in their darkest time. Or just consider their life and what is important.
